Book the artist

Leave the details of your event and Lê Duy Mạnh's assistant will be in touch about the set and the fee.

Some events are remembered for their scale, some parties for the room they were held in — and then there are moments where a single melody is enough to stay with everyone present for a very long time.

Across more than two decades on stage, Lê Duy Mạnh has performed at home and abroad — from large arts programmes and cultural or diplomatic occasions to private celebrations. Each set is not simply "a number on the running order", but a moment shaped for the spirit of that particular event.

Saxophone for events that need a signature of their own

With its elegant, romantic tone and its particular way of connecting with a room, the saxophone is a refined choice for:

  • High-end weddings
  • Gala Dinner
  • Corporate events
  • Brand launches
  • Private Party / VIP Event
  • Cultural and diplomatic events
  • Concerts and music nights
  • International programmes
  • Workshop
  • Recording and broadcast

Luxury weddings

The saxophone can be there from the first guests arriving through to the rings, the cake and the toast. A piece that means something to the two people at the centre of the day, played live, creates a moment quite unlike background music.

  • Arrival

Jazz, bossa nova, smooth jazz or gentle love songs.

  • Ceremony

One piece set aside for the couple's own moment.

  • Dinner

Elegant melodies, present enough to be noticed while keeping the refinement of the room.

The aim is not for the saxophone to take over the celebration, but for the music to become part of the memory of the day.

An open-air concert, the ground full

Gala dinners & corporate events

For a gala dinner, a year-end party, an anniversary, an awards evening or a VIP client event, a well-staged saxophone set can leave its mark in the first few minutes.

  • Opening Performance

An opening number built to a peak, working with the staging, the lighting and the brand's imagery.

  • Welcome Cocktail

Jazz and smooth jazz as guests arrive, setting an elegant tone from the door.

  • Gala Dinner

Punctuating sets that make a graceful transition between the formal programme and dinner.

  • VIP & Private Event

A programme chosen for the brand's style, the guests and the venue.

The difference is that the music is chosen for that event, rather than a fixed set list used for every programme.

A friendship concert on a classical European stage

Cultural and diplomatic events, and international performances

Lê Duy Mạnh has performed in Austria, Italy, Sweden and the United States, and taken part in cultural programmes alongside Vietnam's high-level delegations. For events with an international dimension the repertoire is built to combine international jazz, contemporary writing and Vietnamese music arranged for saxophone — the horn becoming a bridge between a modern musical language and Vietnamese cultural identity.

Musical style

Trained professionally in jazz saxophone in Vietnam and in Europe, he plays for beautiful sound, restraint and emotional depth rather than display.

  • Classic jazz standards
  • Smooth Jazz & Contemporary
  • Ballads and Vietnamese love songs
  • Trịnh Công Sơn · Vũ Thành An · Ngô Thụy Miên
  • Lam Phương · Nguyễn Ánh 9 · Từ Công Phụng

Every event needs its own musical script

A set works not only because of the musician, but because of when he appears, what is chosen, and how the music sits inside the programme as a whole. Before each event, these are the things usually worked through in detail:

  • The character and scale of the programme
  • Indoor or outdoor setting
  • Who the guests are
  • When the artist appears
  • Length of the set
  • The musical style you have in mind
  • One or more pieces that mean something particular to the hosts
  • Solo saxophone, or together with singers, piano, a band and guest artists

What shapes the fee

The fee for booking Lê Duy Mạnh is built around each individual programme rather than set at a fixed rate.

  • Length of the set

One piece during a ceremony is a different proposition from 30–45 minutes of welcome music, or a set inside a gala dinner.

  • Format

Solo saxophone, or together with a band, singers and guest artists.

  • Location

Hanoi, elsewhere in Vietnam, or programmes abroad.

  • Production requirements

A bespoke arrangement, sound, lighting or artistic content designed for the event.

  • Time of year

Wedding season and the year-end gala period book up — it is worth reserving early.

Black-and-white portrait with the alto saxophone

For Lê Duy Mạnh the saxophone is not there to "fill the background" of a party. It has to become part of the room, part of the feeling — and at the events that matter most, part of the memory.
